We work with students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Most students are between grades 1 and 6, but we consider each family individually.
Yes. Our instruction is grounded in structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham inspired methods, which are widely recognized as effective for students with dyslexia and other reading differences.
Standard sessions are 45 minutes, typically once or twice per week. Consistency matters — most families see the strongest progress with two sessions per week.
Both are available. In-person sessions are offered across Long Island, and virtual sessions are available for families throughout New York.
Every child is different, but families typically notice increased confidence within the first few weeks and measurable skill gains within a semester of consistent instruction.
We provide informal reading assessments as part of onboarding. For formal diagnostic evaluations, we can refer you to trusted specialists.
